What an excellent idea for a community to research! I actually started out as a geography major during my undergrad years (and then switched to Art History), and I'm one of those map enthusiasts that treasure library and museum map collections. The Los Angeles area has so many stories within its geographic and cultural boundaries! I'm looking forward to reading your future posts on this community.
